Marching Band Scholarship

Summary of Scholarship The band boosters want to encourage our school's marching band students to continue with marching band at the collegiate level. Any member of the marching band may apply: musicians, flags, and batons. Students must have completed 3 years of marching band in high school to be eligible for this scholarship.
While in college, students may apply for renewal of this scholarship. However, they must produce a transcript to prove that they completed a marching band course in the previous year. Students who withdraw or fail the college's marching band course are no longer eligible to renew this scholarship.
The scholarship committee will award $2,000 to 2 students based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: marching band grades and attendance; overall GPA; leadership demonstrated in marching band and other organizations; financial need; 3 minute audition; and the recommendation of the band directors. |
