Joe's Shipping CDL Scholarship

Summary of Scholarship When you go into a store, most of the products you see have been shipped via a commercial truck. Truck drivers are needed to get groceries to supermarkets, clothes to malls, and medical supplies to hospitals. Whether you have always dreamed of getting behind the wheel of a big rig, you want to travel across the country, or you are looking for a profitable career, you need a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)!
Joe's Shipping and Freight company, based in our town, is offering 3 scholarships for students who wish to earn a CDL. The $2,000 scholarship may be used for any CDL training program at an accredited trade or vocational school. A CDL program will teach you how to carry out safety checks, routine maintenance, and log keeping, and most importantly, how to maneuver the big rig safely and professionally on busy streets and highways. |
